Graphics with a Western Twist
Location: Downtown San Diego
I've always had a love for the combination of patterns and graphics (as seen here and here). For this look, I wanted to incorporate a western piece which came to fruition in the form of this belt. The edgy black leather of the belt and snakeskin pattern on the skirt paired with the typography on the shirt make for a cute, casual, and stylish weekend look.
Something about the intricate details of western pieces has me excited to incorporate them into my late Summer/early Fall wardrobe. In this case, the belt ties in the black typography of the tee and defines the waistline. I added a deep green bag to add some color to the look and to complement the earthy tones of the outfit.
Since the skirt is so form-fitting, I tucked the top in so as to keep the look casual. Another option would be to tie the shirt in the front. In the Fall, a black leather jacket would top this look off perfectly.
Thanks so much for reading and I look forward to having you back!
