Lately I’ve been captivated by this idea of “high-low” styling. Traditionally, high-low has referred to mixing high-end designer pieces with cheaper fast fashion pieces. However, since I try to steer away from fast fashion, I use the term to describe mixing high-end designer pieces and pieces that are typically used in more casual looks.
For example, a vintage band tee (casual) with a Givenchy skirt (high-end). This contrast of relaxed and sophisticated is what makes high/low so unique.
Here’s what I’m wearing for this look:
Vintage Tee (explore some great ones here)
Thrifted Scallop Sleeved Top
Vintage Givenchy Skirt (sold)
Vintage Velvet Blazer (available)
Vintage Structured Bag (available)
Thanks so much for reading and I look forward to having you back!
