Bold in Blazers

Location: Downtown Los Angeles

While blazers are typically used to dress up an outfit, I wanted to try playing around with wearing one in a more casual, edgy way. Scroll down to see the three looks I came up with!

Outfit One: Leather & Lace

This outfit is a little daring with the leather pants and black lace bralet but the blazer helps to balance it out. The top features a large keyhole which exposes a good portion of the bralet. I love the multiple variants of black in the look.

Blazer: Banana Republic
Top: Forever 21
Bralet: Free People
Pants: 7 for all mankind
Shoes: Madewell
Outfit Two: Edgy Band Tee

I love the balance of edgy and chic in this look. The band tee, leather skirt, and choker all contribute to the rocker look while the blazer and velvet heels help to class it up a bit.

Blazer: Banana Republic
Tee & Choker: Brandy Melville
Skirt: Kendall and Kylie
Shoes: Madewell
Outfit Three: Campus Chic

This look exudes a school girl vibe with the neck tie, blazer, and high socks, but I made sure to keep the tones monochromatic to avoid looking like I was dressing up for Halloween. I think this helped to create a more mature, put together look.

Blazer: Banana Republic
Dress: ASOS
Socks and Necktie: H&M
